Urban Financial Services Coalition Omaha Chapter, Inc. (UFSCOC) is one of 22 affiliate chapters in the Urban Financial Services Coalition, a national organization established in 1974 as the National Association of Urban Bankers. When minority bankers from different parts of the country began to discover the value of information-sharing among associates from city to city, they organized local chapters into a national network under the umbrella of NAUB. In May 2000 the organization expanded to encompass the entire financial services industry and changed its name to reflect its industry-wide focus.
